This bust was done during a ZBrush masterclass I taught at Isart Digital Paris, intended for complete beginners with the software (and digital 3D in general).
I chose to sculpt Beidou from Genshin Impact since it shows some degree of complexity without being too difficult to do (and I can't stop from playing this game at the moment). The students had to sculpt an existing character in five days, from Subtool import to polypainted rendered turntable, only using the very basic tools of ZBrush (primitives, masks, dynamesh, and a few brushes).
Having to limit myself to these simple and limited tools was quite the challenge, actually! But it was so fun to do, especially the teaching aspect of these 5 days of masterclass.
