Big personal project I've been doing in my spare time. It's directly adapted from the amazing concept of the great Miguel Iglesias:

The goal was to produce a game-ready realistic character, with focus on the rendering part, to improve my skills and even learn some in the process. It was a great exercise in every aspect, I feel like I learned a lot from this project! I am already aware of things I did wrong, or that could be improved. But sometimes, it's better to stop and move on. I really loved doing a more realistic character, so I will definitely do more in the future.
I'd like to adress special thanks to Srijan Maharjan, Romain Braas, Elric Darmois and Paula-Charlotte Alonso Aubin for their precious help, feedback and support during the whole process.
You can find the backstory of Orlaugur at the link above. Basically, he's a deadly space pirate in the Star Wars universe, during the Empire. Leader of a pirate crew, he's highly infamous for his numerous murders and legendary cruelty, among other even darker things...
Based on the look of his face in the concept, I chose to make Orlaugur a Zabrak, same species as Darth Maul. Obviously, to put on his helmet, he needs to cut down his horns. I think it gives him an interesting look, in the lore of Star Wars.
